Soooooooo, 32 years after I took a different pathway from my passion of medicine, I have had one of my first tastes of what it is like to provide health based support and advice.
It is wonderful! It feels like such a rich way to connect with people.
And I may not have won my first customer, but I did have a wonderful conversation and I did ‘practice my craft’, which feels like is a very productive thing to do!
I am so excited to finally be doing something tangible in the industry I wanted to work in when I left high school ie. health. I could kick myself that I didn’t twig that studying nutrition all the way back then would have been a lower barrier entry to the same kind of work! Ah well. Better late than never, I suppose. It has been a colourful life, and now I can use my marketing expertise to try my best to win new clients.
I haven’t completely locked down what the service is that I am offering as yet. I am hoping that the service will grow organically out of conversations with people who care about their nutritional health!
What a buzz!! I think I will celebrate with one more glass of water 🙂
