Hi, I am Sarah
My journey into entrepreneurship has been shaped by the need to build financial independence as someone with a disability.
Self-employment is an attractive option for many people who live with disabilities. For me, it is the geographical and temporal freedom that appeals to me the most. As a strongly independent person, I also feel compelled to have the security of my own business for when my life inevitably becomes unstable.
Ever since I built my first website in 2012, I was struck by the incredible potential to build my own form of financial sustenance. That value has stuck with me in the ensuing years. I am still strongly committed to it.
My website development business has allowed me to support numerous businesses in their business aspirations and to build their online presences.
Now, I am using these skills to support NDIS participants to build their new or existing businesses online and to develop the business confidence to build sustainable income streams.
Learning is my deepest passion, followed by the rich value of connection between people who ‘go a little deeper’, and a spirit of adventure, or rich experiences.
I studied entrepreneurship at the University of Swinburne as part of a (as yet incomplete) Bachelor of Media and Communication. It taught me some helpful theory, however, the real learning is happening as I repeat the process of helping amazing people to launch and nurture their business ideas.
My other significant experience in entrepreneurship is in a family e-commerce business, where I have contributed to the generation of one six-figure revenue stream, and one emerging retail business via EA support, website design and development, strategy planning and management.
My passion is helping other people (particularly those with disabilities or disadvantage) to build income streams that will make a difference to their lives.
I am not currently taking new clients, as I am planning to continue my studies. However, if you would like to have a conversation about your business ideas, and get some initial support, or join a waitlist please reach out.
Thank you for being here!!
